Winnie the Pooh’s “Hunny” Snack Mix Recipe

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

This is a honey themed snack mix inspired by Winnie the Pooh’s love for “hunny”!

I made this yummy Winnie the Pooh themed honey snack mix for a book club party I had for my kids after we finished reading The House at Pooh Corner. This treat, along with the other Winnie the Pooh themed treats we had, made our party truly special and unforgettable!

Winnie the Pooh's "Hunny" Snack Mix

I knew I wanted to make a snack mix with all things honey since “hunny” is Winnie the Pooh’s favorite snack.

The ingredients for this honey snack mix include Honeycomb cereal, Honey Nut Cheerios cereal, honey Teddy Grahams, mini pretzel sticks, honey roasted peanuts, Reeses Pieces, and sugar bumble bees (found HERE)!

I only wanted yellow and brown Reeses Pieces in the mix to represent yellow honey, and brown tree trunks, so I removed all of the orange ones. However, they can easily be left in if you would like since orange can also represent Tigger!

All of the ingredients, except for the sugar bumble bees, should be combined in a large bowl and gently mixed.

Once the snack mix is mixed together, you can scoop the snack mix into individual cups and place one sugar bumble bee in each cup on top of the snack mix.

The light yellow cups I used can be found HERE.

Serve and enjoy! Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container.

We had such a cute Paddington Bear book party afte We had such a cute Paddington Bear book party after finishing A Bear Called Paddington with our Brave Writer curriculum! All of the decorations were Paddington/London theme and I found the cutest Paddington Bear plush to use as a centerpiece. For treats we had teddy grahams, gummy bears, cupcakes, and I made bear shaped orange marmalade sandwiches. 🐻🍊🇬🇧 @juliebravewriter

We are using Brave Writer Darts @juliebravewriter We are using Brave Writer Darts @juliebravewriter for our LA curriculum this year. We recently had our first book party of the school year and it was so much fun! The party was actually for two books: The Very, Very Far North and Just Beyond the Very, Very Far North. Both of these books were adorable and my boys loved them. For the book party I used plates, napkins, and various colored balloons that matched the cover of the first book. I also used lots of snowflakes for decor and an adorable “Duane” polar bear plush as the centerpiece. For snacks, we had “arctic circles” (mini powdered donuts), snowballs like Duane made in the second book (powdered munchkins), icicle pops (white rock candy), and a yummy snowy snack mix which included white chocolate snowflake pretzels. I’ll be sharing all the party details in a blog post soon! ❄️🐻‍❄️💙🩷💜🖤
